“Mentha x Piperita” is a hybrid of “Mentha aquatica” (Water mint) and “Mentha spicata” (Spearmint), and has a very minty and fresh aroma and flavor, but also sweet and spicy. This is the most used mint for medicinal purposes and also in the chewing gum, toothpaste and cosmetics industry. Peppermint relieves digestive problems, it’s antiseptic and analgesic.
The leaves are used fresh or dried.
Its infusion is especially refreshing. The combination with any type of chocolate is perfect.
The fresh leaves are used to flavor drinks, salads, sauces and also sweets and ice cream.
