FARM TO TABLE experience
Guided farm tour + cooking  workshop + lunch *PRIVATE*

A workshop that begins with a visit to the farm, during which we identify and smell our aromatic herbs and learn how to use them in gastronomy. It is also during the visit that we will harvest the aromatic herbs that will be used in the workshop to make the sauces, side dishes and drinks that you will eat at lunch.

Rute, author of the book Sal Verde, will then present some recipes and share her knowledge about the use of aromatic herbs in the kitchen.

While tasting and snacking on what they are cooking, participants learn some typical Alentejo recipes, such as migas à alentejana, açorda sauce, and seasonings for vegetables, cheeses, olives, meat or fish.

Finally, it’s time to enjoy the result of your work: a whole meal, along with an infusion and/or lemonade. Coffee and dessert will also be served at the end.

The workshop and lunch, weather permitting, will be held outdoors in our citrus garden, under our magnificent and beautiful ash tree.

• Guided farm tour – discover, smell, and taste all our plants, learn about production methods, and see centuries-old olive trees. Herb picking for the workshop.
• Workshop on the use of herbs in cooking, with an emphasis on Portuguese cuisine, with Rute Porto.
• Aromatic lunch resulting from what was prepared in the workshop, consisting of appetizers, main course, salad, drink, dessert, and coffee.
• It is possible to adapt the menu to dietary restrictions, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or lactose-free options.
• Wine option – please order and pay separately.
• Access to the farm shop where you can buy our products.
