"Mentha x Piperita" is a hybrid of “Mentha aquatica” (Water mint) and “Mentha spicata” (Spearmint), and has a very minty and fresh aroma and flavor, but also sweet and spicy. This is the most used mint for medicinal purposes and also in the chewing gum, toothpaste and cosmetics industry. Peppermint relieves digestive problems, it’s antiseptic and analgesic.
The leaves are used fresh or dried.
Its infusion is especially refreshing. The combination with any type of chocolate is perfect.
The fresh leaves are used to flavor drinks, salads, sauces and also sweets and ice cream.

"Aloysia Triphylla" is a beautiful plant with an delicate fresh scent. It makes a very pleasant and refreshing infusion, both with dry and fresh leaves.
It aids digestion, and also have calming and sedative properties.
When making sweets, its intense and sweet flavor helps to greatly reduce the amount of sugar in recipes. The dry leaves must be crushed with sugar to release the oils. It is used in fruit desserts, cakes, cookies and ice cream.

"Cymbopogon Citratus" has natural strong and fresh lemon scent.

From the fresh or dried leaves, you can make a pleasant infusion, perfect as both a fresh or a hot drink.

It contains about 70% citral essential oil, which is also found in lemon and orange peel. This is mainly known and used to alleviate digestive problems, to calm the nervous system and it's also used as an insect repellent. It also has analgesic, anti-depressant and anti-bacterial properties.

The fresh, fleshy stalks, cut into slices, pairs perfectly with seafood, fish, ginger and coconut.

In our farm, the bulbs are less fleshy, hence it is more common to use the leaves, which also add a delicious citrus flavor to cooking. It is used to flavor soups and sauces and adds a refreshing touch to chicken and other meat, fish or seafood dishes.
