Contains: a Sage smudge stick, a candle made with beeswax, a clay plate, a box of matches and an instruction leaflet. The kit will be sent, wrapped in a burlap cloth that can serve as a base for the elements that make it up.

Sage (Salvia officinalis) has cleanse properties.

The ritual of burning herbs has long been a common practice in many cultures around the world. Generally associated with spiritual rituals to ward off bad energy, the health benefits are more than scientifically proven. Smoke, resulting from smudge herb sticks, has strong antiseptic properties and the particular ability to inhibit and destroy bacteria. Rosemary as the main herb, bay leaf and cedar as a complement, are the herbs selected by us and which are part of this smudge stick. Herbs of biological origin and dried naturally in a protected environment.

Organic Sage from our farm.

"Salvia Officilalis" is one of the most amazing medicinal plants, and one of the most studied, but it is also very beautiful as an ornamental plant. In the Middle Ages it was known as holy herb, as it was considered extremely medicinal and capable of curing all ills.
Since ancient times, it has been known for its exceptional anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

The infusion of dry or fresh leaves acts on the digestive system and improves circulation. It has antiseptic properties for inflammation of the mouth and pharynx. The plant is also used in treatments related to excessive sweating, anxiety, depression, menstruation and lactation.

It should not be taken for very long periods. Not recommended for pregnant women or epileptic people.
Externally it is used to treat insect bites and skin infections. The leaves, when applied to an infected tooth, relieve pain. It can be used fresh or dried, although dried it becomes stronger. The leaves have a strong and pungent aroma and are widely used in cooking.

There are a lot of varieties such as the interesting pineapple-sage which has a characteristic pineapple aroma, and is used in sweets, salads and soft drinks.

Sage is mainly used in heavier dishes, such as fatty meats, due to its digestive properties. It pairs perfectly with mushrooms, apples, cheese and pumpkin.
