A brandy produced from certified organic arbutus trees and in accordance with traditional methods.
Originating from Arab culture, it is a unique and very Portuguese drink. First mostly consumed in Algarve, because of the strong Muslim heritage in that part of Portugal, then progressively consumed throughout the country. In the countryside, its use is also associated with medicinal purposes, perhaps because arbutus has many medicinal properties, such as anti-bacterial, antioxidant, anti-diabetic, among others.

Slightly fruity drink, ideal for digestive purposes.
Produced in a small distillery.
Alcohol level: 48%
It should be enjoyed at room temperature and in moderation.
